Vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, or somewhere in between? We’ve got you. Need fuel for your sport endeavours or just want a delicious plate of island-inspired food? You’re in the right place.

Meals at Kyuka are also a time to connect. Whether you’re bonding over pancakes at brunch or laughing with new friends at our weekly BBQ night, the table is where stories are shared and memories are made.

About Us

Kyuka Surfclub is a community-driven retreat on the north coast of Fuerteventura that blends surfing, self-development, and connection. We host weekly retreats that include surf lessons, yoga, group activities, and healthy living. Guests come not just for the waves, but for transformation – and food is a big part of that.

Responsibilities

Plan and prepare daily meals (breakfast or lunch, dinner) for groups of up to 20 people

Cater to various dietary needs (vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, etc.)

Design weekly menus using fresh, local ingredients

Maintain a clean, organized kitchen and uphold hygiene standards

Manage food orders, budgets, and inventory

Occasionally lead or assist with BBQ nights and food-themed events

Collaborate with the team to align meals with the retreat schedule and vibe

What We’re Looking For

  • Completed chef training or culinary apprenticeship, with relevant certification

  • Experience as a chef (retreat or hospitality experience is a big plus)
  • Creativity with plant-based and health-conscious cooking
  • A warm, adaptable personality – team player with a passion for people
  • Reliable, self-organized, and cool under pressure
  • Open to island life and being part of a tight-knit, intentional community
